Persuasive Essay-ANONYMOUS WRITERS: AFRAID OF REJECTIONS?

“You’ve never gone any better! You’re sticking to your outdated ways! Revise it! Recast! - These are just few of the miserable lines a writer may hear from the chief editor. Lucky, if you have never swallowed these lines in all of your writings. Perhaps, a good writing entails rethinking and rewriting as well. But, do you have to feel deep within yourself that your work is not anymore brought about by passion but due to fear of humiliation?   Would you even tend to display such great works in the open?

          Writing which was said to emerged in Greece years ago has been the greatest way of expressing ideas. This is one of the skills needed to be develop in every individual. As we usually hear from old folks, that the mind cannot store tons of information time and then. Even scientists, bomb experts and chief executives all over the world has been surmounting days of paper works. This is for the reason that through writing, nothing would be left behind. Nothing is isolated. Everything will be taken care of.

          But, aside from these pros of writing, why do we have writers who are able to make endearing pieces yet kept their identities hidden? Are they just humble enough to reveal themselves to the public or are they just afraid of hearing how people criticize and appeal to their works?

          Basically, people write for self expression. To get through their emotions, thoughts, and to convey ideas. Thus, opening wounds and getting across mishaps. Therefore, we want to inspire and motivate others to look at the brighter side of life. But, why do after all the efforts made by some writers, they tend to conceal themselves from the readers?

          Well, as I can see it- reasons are left within their hands. They have different reasons for doing such. Perhaps, one thing could possibly be-fear. Fear of how the people would react to such works, fear of criticisms and fear of being pin pointed. They are somewhat pessimistic in the first hand. They are not that well confident to stand on what they have created. They thought that their work is just one of the many. One of which a reader would not dare to spend time with.

          But, I still stand for the thought that these bunches of mysterious, meek and ambiguous writers are just simple persons who are just wanting to serve and not to be served. Perhaps, they are not just for the benefit of the acknowledgments but rather for the merits it brings when they have accomplished such.

          Indeed, writers have their own personal reasons for preserving their identities. We may never know if this reason gives them the chance to keep the spirit alive. If you were to write, would you be brave enough to include your name or just be one of the anonymous writers?
